The Perfumed Plume hosted a fun and enlightening evening on November 14 with the one and only Michael Edwards, fragrance expert, brand ambassador, and author. A gathering of industry executives, indie connoisseurs and fragrance fans came to the Society of Illustrators to hear all about the launch of his fragrance books and his extraordinary career in the fragrance world, skillfully led by Bibi Prival, Fragrance Evaluator at Mane.
“We couldn’t be more excited or proud that Michael agreed to spend some time with us and share so many fragrance stories. Michael is a master in the fragrance world, a guardian of its history and a conduit to its future. His publications, recognized worldwide as masterpieces of fragrance history and research, go right to the heart of our mission to support and encourage fragrance journalism in all its forms,” comments Mary Ellen Lapsansky, Co-Founder, Perfumed Plume, LLC.
“What a treat to listen to Michael – his depth of knowledge in all things fragrance is literally encyclopedic,” said Lyn Leigh, Co-Founder, Perfumed Plume, LLC. “Bibi did an amazing job of gleaning so many interesting nuggets and kept the conversation flowing. Michael is a born storyteller. We thank them both most sincerely.”
The upcoming book launches are: – Fragrances of the World: Artisan & Selective houses 1709/2017 (April 2018); Perfume Legends: French Feminine Fragrances: The New Edition (September 2018); and, American Legends (Date TBA).
