The 2018 Submissions Deadline is fast approaching. Who are the judges? Who will win?
New York, NY 1/19/2018. A CALL TO ACTION: The deadline for submissions to be eligible to win a prestigious Perfumed Plume Award™ is fast approaching. Stories MUST be submitted by no later than January 31, 2018. There are six categories to enter and the criteria can be found at perfumedplume.com.
"If 2017 was an exciting year for Perfumed Plume with the addition of two special evenings dedicated to fragrance journalism, it's the thrill of working towards the 3rd awards process & celebration that propels our motivation and enthusiasm!" comments Mary Ellen Lapsansky, Co-Founder, Perfumed Plume, LLC. "And this year there is a new first as we are adding an extra note of anticipation by announcing the finalists at a cocktail reception on Thursday, March 15 to be held at Perfumariē, NYC, a discovery platform uniting the world of fragrance where olfactive luminaries have a new place to gather."
Who are the judges this year? "The Perfumed Plume Awards™ is honored that, once again, an illustrious panel as diverse as the stories themselves have so kindly agreed to participate this year," said Lyn Leigh, Co-Founder, Perfumed Plume, LLC. "The judging panel includes experts and commentators on fragrance, fashion, lifestyle, design and culture. With so many wonderful scent stories to read, the judges will be presented with a difficult task in selecting the best of the best."
The judges on the 2018 Perfumed Plume Awards panel are:
Global Fragrance Expert and Owner of Sixth Scents
Professor at the New School and the Fashion Institute of Technology
Founder & CEO of Crafting Beauty
Director of the Graduate Program in Costume Studies at New York University
Who will win accolades at the 3rd Perfumed Plume Awards™ when the envelopes are opened on April 11, 2018? Which scent stories take readers on a journey of discovery or brings back a fond memory? Will it be a story about the way fragrance can help heal, soothe and calm. Or a humorous take on the way we smell? Whichever stories win, the Perfumed Plume predicts they will illuminate, entertain and educate.
