We are delighted to welcome submissions to the 6th year
of the PERFUMED PLUME AWARDS
FOR FRAGRANCE JOURNALISM ™.
The Perfumed Plume Awards showcase writers whose 2020 published
editorials or books provide a broader awareness and appreciation for
fragrance through informative and entertaining "scent-centric" stories.
Co-Founders
Lyn Leigh and
Mary Ellen Lapsansky both agree that “despite
all the ups and downs of this year, including wearing face masks, no
force alive can vanquish the positive, satisfying experience gained as
you breathe in the words of an uplifting, enlightening, entertaining and
thoroughly engaging fragrance story. Stories that illuminate the magic
and mystery of scent as written by some of the most talented journalists
on earth. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR BRILLIANCE!”
“
MANE is so happy to continue its support of the Perfume Plume Awards.
It’s the ultimate showcase for each and every writer who submits a
perfume story. Their extraordinary imagination and creativity
contributes to a greater understanding of the perfume world in the minds
of the consumer. Bravo!” comments
Miranda Gordon, Vice President, Fine
Fragrances,
MANE.
Award Guidelines
Fragrance articles must focus on generic information about scent in an
original, creative and unique style that engages and educates the
consumer on the art and craft of fragrance. The articles should give an
inside view of the cultural, historic, scientific and personal
approaches to fragrance design and what it takes to create an evocative
scent.
